CAMDEN — The primary blue penguin chick born on the Journey Aquarium hatched final month.
The feminine chick was born Dec. four, 2016 to first-time dad or mum Sheila and Goose, the aquarium introduced on Monday.
An internet vote can be held later this month to assist select the chick’s identify.
The chick weighed simply 1.23 ounces when she hatched however has already grown to 2 kilos, three ounces — the dimensions of different adults within the little blue colony. She now eats 25 to 30 small entire fish every day, together with silversides, smelt, anchovies, trout and capelin.
