ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) – Gov. Larry Hogan has appointed Lourdes Padilla as secretary of the Maryland Division of Human Assets.
The governor introduced the appointment Monday.
Padilla has greater than 28 years of expertise within the human providers area. She now serves as deputy secretary for revenue upkeep on the Pennsylvania Division of Human Assets. She has overseen operations in 5 bureaus underneath that company. They embrace youngster help enforcement, program help and program analysis.
She replaces appearing Secretary Gregory James, who’s returning to his prior position as deputy secretary for packages.
James was named appearing secretary in October, after former secretary Sam Malhotra was named Hogan’s chief of employees.
