An Orange County deputy sheriff was killed Monday throughout a manhunt for the gunman who killed Orlando police Grasp Sgt. Debra Clayton earlier Monday morning, the sheriff stated.
The deputy, who was not recognized, was on his motorbike when a car turned in entrance of him, Sheriff Jerry Demings stated.

An Orlando police officer was killed Monday and a manhunt is underneath approach for the gunman who shot her, the Orlando Police Division stated.
Grasp Sgt. Debra Clayton, a 17-yr veteran and mom of two, died Monday morning, Orlando Police Chief John Mina stated.
“The Orlando Police Division household is heartbroken at present,” OPD tweeted together with video of flag-draped casket. “Certainly one of our personal was taken within the line of obligation. There are not any phrases.”
Authorities have recognized the suspect as Markeith Loyd.
At the very least 17 close by faculties are on lockdown because the suspect stays on the unfastened, officers stated.
A witness informed CNN affiliate WFTV the capturing occurred at a Walmart, and the gunman was sporting a safety uniform.
“He walked by me, had a safety vest and every little thing,” witness James Herman informed WFTV.
“I used to be strolling down the sidewalk, proper previous the officer, and I heard her inform him to cease, or no matter, and he shot her. He shot her down.”
Herman stated the person continued to shoot behind him as he was operating from the scene.
