Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim is a Nigerian actress and commercial model, She Participated in the BBNaija Season 5 show, and tagged \u201cLockdown\u201d as one of the housemates. She is one of the lovable female housemates in Big Brother Naija Lockdown 2020<\/span><\/p>\n She has a successful educational and career life that makes her an inspiration to many.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Erica Nlewedim was born <\/span>on March 13, 1994, to her parents, Eric Nlewedim Christian and Oby Nwokolo. She hails from Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. She is an only child and was raised in Lagos by her mother.<\/span><\/p>\n She had her secondary school education at Victory Grammar School in Lagos and was later transferred to Command Secondary School in Ikeja.<\/span><\/p>\n Erica graduated from high school and gained admission into the <\/span>university at <\/span>Covenant University<\/b>, one of the top Nigerian private universities in Ota, Ogun State, <\/span>to pursue a degree in Business Administration.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2013, she graduated from university a<\/span>t the age of 19<\/span>. Six years later, she flew to the United Kingdom to study Acting for Film at the Met Film School in London. She returned to Lagos and currently lives in Lagos.<\/span><\/p>\n Erica <\/span>started pursuing her modeling talent at a very young age, and in 2013, she was appointed as the brand ambassador for Natures Gentle Touch. This brand uses natural ingredients to care for scalp and hair.<\/span><\/p>\n Ngozi Erica <\/span>has also worked with popular brands such as <\/span>Jumia<\/b>, <\/span>MyZotoApp,<\/b> and <\/span>Glo<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n She was also the brand face for Access Bank, Maltina, and Zaron Cosmetics from 2015 to 2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2014, Erica won the Miss Photogenic award after participating in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. It helped her gain more popularity; she even featured an advert for Peak Milk TV.<\/span><\/p>\n Erica said she transitioned from modeling to Nollywood after participating in the 2014 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant.<\/span><\/p>\n Erica said: <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMy dream role would be to be the main character in an action film. I have always loved female action stars like Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron and dreamed of acting like them. I\u2019m currently training myself to be ready whenever that role presents itself.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n BBNaija mentioned Halley Berry as the actress that has inspired her the most.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The 26-year-old actress gushed about Halle Berry <\/span>during a recent interview with The Guardian newspaper<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n Erica told the interviewer:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHalle Berry inspires me a lot because she\u2019s one of the most successful black action stars. She\u2019s versatile also. Erica is the first black woman to win an Oscar for best actress, she\u2019s very classy, and even after so many years of acting, she\u2019s still in great form and can still take on action roles in her fifties.
