Blaze was born on August 14th, 1983 to a mother from Anambra State<\/a> and a father from Cross River State. He had an exciting early life where he grew up in both the cities of Port Harcourt<\/a> and Calabar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He had his primary and secondary school education in Port Harcourt<\/a>, where he attended Bishop Crowther Memorial Secondary School<\/strong> in Port Harcourt, where he completed his secondary education. At the University of Port Harcourt,<\/strong> he completed his undergraduate studies in linguistics and communication, earning a B.Sc. in 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From 2001\u20132002, Blaze spent a year as an employee of Epoch Magazine<\/strong>. In 2002, he started working as a broadcaster for Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt<\/strong>. He worked there for a while and held a variety of roles, including show host, radio DJ, continuity announcer, and head of the presentation department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He was a part of the hip-hop group Tuck Tyght<\/strong> in Port Harcourt and is also a rapper. In 2008, he quit Rhythm FM<\/strong> and joined Visual Media Networks, Nigezie. He directed a large number of TV shows in the nation between 2008 and 2012, including programmes like True Search<\/strong>, Battle of the Year<\/strong>, and Peak Talent Show<\/strong>. He left the cable TV network in May 2012 and accepted a job offer to host Nigeria’s Got Talent<\/strong>, a reality television show based on the Got Talent series<\/strong> format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He is married with two children, twin girls by his long-time girlfriend. He is also a cousin of the popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw-Nutall<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The on-air personality Andre Blaze was exposed in May 2018 by a Nigerian woman by the name of Olutimehin Adegbeye<\/strong> for allegedly sexually assaulting her.
