Early life and education

Ademola Alugo was born on September 10, 1994, to a corporate tycoon Alhaji Fatai Moyosore Alugo & a businesswoman, Alhaja Atinuke Alugo in Lagos State. He originally hails from Lagos State, one of the South Western States in Nigeria, where he also grew up.

Ademola had his early childhood education at Marie Claire and secondary education at King’s College Lagos, graduating class of 2011. In 2012, he got a diploma in Sociology from the University of Lagos, and in 2015, he bagged a B.Sc in Sociology from the same University of Lagos top of his class.

In 2019, he enrolled at the University of Lagos for his Masters Degree in Business Administration and Management, graduating in 2022. Currently, he is at the University of Liverpool John Moores, studying criminology and social justice.

Career

After graduation from the university, Ademola joined a corporate firm, “Globacom” and worked there shortly.

Ademola is currently Senior vice president of Dvpper Digital a subsidiary of Dapper group, founded by his friend Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi, with whom they studied together while he was an undergraduate student, at the University of Lagos.

In 2019, Ademola started his music career. He first started at Dapper Music as the first executive and employee of the company. Soon enough, he rose to become the Head of Music distribution of the Dapper Group and senior vice president of the foremost Independent Music Company in Africa.

Ademola is one of the key parts of the rise of Dvpper Digital. Working with superstars like Omah Lay, Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and Ice Prince T.I Blaze. Ademola Alugo has also been featured in several news articles discussing the growth of the Nigerian music industry and the impact of Afrobeats on the global music scene
