Andre Blaze Henshaw (born August 14, 1983) is a radio DJ, rapper, television host, and executive producer from Nigeria. He gained notoriety for being a member of the defunct hip hop ensemble Tuck Tyght Allstars, with which he first came to public attention. Before joining Nigezie as a TV personality, he began his radio career at Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt, where he worked for more than six years.
After four years on Nigezie TV, he left his position to become a host of Nigeria’s Got Talent in May 2012. He had previously presented a number of other reality television talent competitions, including Peak Talent Show, True Search, and Battle of the Year. He serves as a trainer for Google’s Digital Skills for Africa programme.

Early Life and Education
Blaze was born on August 14th, 1983 to a mother from Anambra State and a father from Cross River State. He had an exciting early life where he grew up in both the cities of Port Harcourt and Calabar.
He had his primary and secondary school education in Port Harcourt, where he attended Bishop Crowther Memorial Secondary School in Port Harcourt, where he completed his secondary education. At the University of Port Harcourt, he completed his undergraduate studies in linguistics and communication, earning a B.Sc. in 2006.
Career
From 2001–2002, Blaze spent a year as an employee of Epoch Magazine. In 2002, he started working as a broadcaster for Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt. He worked there for a while and held a variety of roles, including show host, radio DJ, continuity announcer, and head of the presentation department.
He was a part of the hip-hop group Tuck Tyght in Port Harcourt and is also a rapper. In 2008, he quit Rhythm FM and joined Visual Media Networks, Nigezie. He directed a large number of TV shows in the nation between 2008 and 2012, including programmes like True Search, Battle of the Year, and Peak Talent Show. He left the cable TV network in May 2012 and accepted a job offer to host Nigeria’s Got Talent, a reality television show based on the Got Talent series format.
Personal Life
He is married with two children, twin girls by his long-time girlfriend. He is also a cousin of the popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw-Nutall.
Controversy
The on-air personality Andre Blaze was exposed in May 2018 by a Nigerian woman by the name of Olutimehin Adegbeye for allegedly sexually assaulting her. Olutimehin, who used Twitter to relate her experience, claimed that Blaze had sexually attacked her roughly two years prior.
