The renowned Nigerian movie actor cum one of the most popular indigenous comedians Babatunde Omidina was born in the late ’50s to the beautiful family of Mr. and Mrs. Omidina.
He was born on 22nd August 1958 in his hometown in Inabere Street in Lagos Island, Lagos State. Lagos State is a State in the South-Western part of Nigeria. Originally, he is from the Ikorodu local government area of Lagos State.
For his education, Baba attended Jamaitul Islamial Primary School, Lagos, and Children Boarding School, Osogbo for his primary education.
Started his secondary school education at Adekanbi Commercial High School in Mile 12, Lagos State, and completed it at Ifeoluwa Grammar School in Osogbo, Babatunde Omidina has both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Examination Certificate certifications intact.

Suwe started his career in the entertainment industry, particularly in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood, in 1972 at the young age of fourteen.
