Born into the beautiful family of Mr. and Mrs. Senator Isaiah Chawai Balat on October 4th, 1988 in Kaduna State in the Northern part of Nigeria, Bobai Balat is a Hausa by tribe/ethnicity, a Northerner by region, and a Nigerian by nationality.
He attended Sacred Heart Primary School and Loyola Jesuit College for his elementary and secondary education respectively. Expectedly, he has both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Examination Certificate certifications intact.
For his university education, Bobai attended Purdue University, the USA wherein he studied and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Technology. More so, he studied Economics at the American University Of Nigeria.
Again, he flew back to the United States, wherein he studied and bagged a Master’s Degree in International Economics from the prestigious University of Nottingham.
Early Career
Before going for the Big Brother Naija show, Bobai Balat has been doing well for himself. Upon graduation, he started a career in the entertainment industry as a music producer and electronic dance music DJ.
In 2017, however, he auditioned for the second season of the Big Brother Naija show and got accepted. Then, he became one of the housemates of the season competing against each other for the prize money.
Currently working as a Statistician at the Nigerian Ports Authority, Marina, Bobai’s career took a new turn after he featured in the season 2 edition of the popular Nigerian reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.
