Emetu Kalu Macduff Chukwuebuka (born January 30, 1993), professionally known as Cosmic Macduff, is a Nigerian author, public speaker, consultant, and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Macversity Group, a Lagos-based firm majorly specialized in ISO standards implementation, professional training, and business advisory. Macduff is also known for his work in youth development, leadership advocacy, and personal branding.

Early Life and Education

Cosmic Macduff was born in Orlu, Imo State, Nigeria but is an indigene of Abia State. He spent most of his childhood in Imo State, where he also acquired his primary and secondary education .  In 2014, he graduated from Abia State University with a Bachelors’ Degree in Political Science. Later, he acquired his Masters’ Degree in  Quality Management from Vilnius University, Lithuania. Since then, he has gone on to acquired other certifications in areas including ISO systems implementation, public speaking, and strategic leadership.

Career

After his Bachelors’ Degree, Emetu Kalu Macduff Chukwuebuka—later known professionally as Cosmic Macduff—moved to Lagos in search of career opportunities.  Upon arrival, he was left stranded after the only contact he had in the city became unreachable. With no accommodation or support, Macduff spent three weeks living under the Oshodi Bridge, bathing with sachet water and paying a small fee to secure space to sleep.

His first opportunity came through the help of a local trader who provided him with a motorcycle to earn income through commercial transport. This was short-lived as the motorcycle was later destroyed during a government enforcement operation.

In Lagos after his NYSC, Macduff began working as a corporate trainer with Pinnacle Project Managers.

In 2018, he founded his own company, Macversity Consulting.  He later joined DUT Consulting Limited, where he rose to the position of Operations Manager. His tenure ended following a dispute with management, related to his efforts to establish his own consulting firm, Macversity Consulting Limited.

With time, Macversity grew to the Macversity Group, including other subsidiaries like Macversity Homes, Macversity Groceries, Macversity Safety Equipment, Macversity Cleaning Services, Macversity Logistics and Transportation.

Aside from consulting, Macduff is a frequent speaker at conferences and youth forums, advocating for ethical leadership, innovation, and personal development. He also serves as National Coordinator of STEP-UP Nigeria, an organization focused on governance and civic engagement.

Philanthropy

Cosmic Macduff is the founder of the Macversity Foundation, a non-profit initiative focused on community development, skills training, education, and healthcare support. The foundation has led various outreach programs, notably the Makoko Tour, which offers vocational training and financial empowerment to residents of the Makoko waterfront community in Lagos
