Early Life 

Daniel K Daniel was born to the family of Mr and Mrs. Chris Daniel in the late80’s. Precisely, he was born on 22nd May, 1986.

Of his parents’ four children, Daniel is the first child. He has two younger brothers and a sister – the last born. One of his brothers, Chris Daniel Jnr is a performing artist and a singer.

Daniel was born in Maiduguri, Borno state. Originally, he is a native of Nenwe, Ani-Nri Local Government Area, Enugu state. Enugu State is a state in the south eastern part of Nigeria.

Notably, Daniel also lived in Abuja, and Port Harcourt with his parents at some point. This, of course, is because of his parents’ career path.

Plainly, his father, Chris Daniel was an engineer while his mother, Kande Daniel was a former Nigerian Chairman fem Journalists Association and a broadcast journalist. Later, she served as an advisor to the Nigerian Ministry of Power on Media.

For his primary education, Daniel K Daniel went to the Command Children’s School and got his First School Leaving Certificate therein. At the Federal Government, Enugu. Therein, he got his West African Senior School Certificate.

Later, he gained admission in the Prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra state. He studied and bagged a degree in biochemistry.

Initially, Daniel wanted to become a pilot but his ambition was, however, cut short after he was diagnosed with myopia (sickness associated with short-sightedness).

Mainly, his three uncles; Shu’aibu lfa (civil pilot), Air Sh Vice-Marshal Chris Chukwu, Squadron Leader John Chukwu, and former chief of Air Staff Late Marshal Ibrahim Alfa, his foster grandfather influenced his initial career choice.

Career

After graduating from university in 2009, Daniel K Daniel first worked in Twinkle Catering Services, his uncle’s company located in Zamfara state, Nigeria.

Later, Daniel left the company for the movie industry. Before finally getting a role in the film industry, Daniel was a full time model. He once featured in Zanda Cosmetics TV commercials.

He was very good at what he did, modeling. Due to this, a Supermodel Steiner Eunice Opera called him for a movie audition. He obliged; without disappointing, Daniel gave in his best and finally left everyone wowed.

After this, he got a call to feature in a TV series; “All About Us.”

Due his expertise in explaining movie roles, Daniel’s rose to prominence after playing a role in the movie “A Soldier’s Tale.”
