The renowned Nigerian movie actor and producer Ernest Obi was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Obi in Anambra State.

Born on 21st June 1970, Ernest was born into a royal family. His father is the Oba 1 of Ukpor while his mother is Eugenia Uzoamaka Nwachimere Egwu was a princess.

As it were, Ernest was born into a family of 9 and is a native of Anambra State; a State in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.

Notably, Ernest didn’t grow up in Anambra, he grew up in Lagos where he had most of his early life.

For his elementary and high school, Ernest Obi attended Onward Nursery and Primary School, Surulere Lagos and Baptist Academy Secondary School respectively.
