Early Life
Kenneth Okonkwo was born in the late 60’s to the beautiful family of Mr. Ozioko Francis Okonkwo and Mrs. Beatrice Okonkwo in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. Enugu State is a state in the South Eastern Part of Nigeria.
Precisely, Kenneth was born on 6th November, 1968. Although he is originally from Nsukka, Enugu State Kenneth grew up in Lagos state, Nigeria.
Being a ‘Lagos boy’ Kenneth had his elementary and secondary education there. As expected, he obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior Certificate therein.
Later, Kenneth Okonkwo got admitted into the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), therein he studied and bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. More so, he proceeded to the University of Lagos where he studied and bagged his second degree – Diplomacy and International Law. He studied theology at Bible School thereafter.
Career
Now, it won’t be bad to say that Kenneth Okonkwo is a go-getter. He joined the movie industry (Nollywood) in 1991.
Notably, he rose to prominence after playing the leading role – Andy Okeke – in a Nollywood blockbuster movie “Leaving in Bondage,” #themovie in 1992.

Yes, please. Kenneth got married to Ogechi Ezekiel in 2000. However, their marriage was short lived as it lasted for two years. He has a son with Ogechi.
Notably, Kenneth Okonkwo got married again in 2007 to Ifeoma Okonkwo. They have been married ever since and their marriage is blessed with a son – Kenechukwu Isaac Chukwuchirimeze Okonkwo.
