Growing up, Kunle was raised by his parents alongside his siblings in Gboko, Benue State, a state in the Southern part of Nigeria. Born into a family of six, Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi is the second son of his parents. What’s more, Engr. Joseph Oluwaremi and Mrs Omolara Sherifat Oluwaremi are his parents. 

Obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Examination Certificate certifications in Ibadan, Oyo State, Kunle is a Bachelor’s degree holder.

Although he didn’t complete his degree program in Fisheries and Wild Life Management at the prestigious University of Ibadan, Kunle Remi studied Acting at the New York Film Academy and graduated in 2014. Moreover, he also studied Filmmaking and Directing and graduated in 2015 from the same institution.

Dropping out of school to pursue a career in the movie industry, Kunle was more interested in his passion. Before he finally picked an interest in acting, Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi was a contestant of the 2010 7th edition of the popular Nigerian TV program, Gulder Ultimate Search.

After winning the edition in 2010, however, Kunle Remi decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry – exactly in 2011. Heavy Beauty became his first movie in the industry. 

First worked with ISIS as a model, Kunle has worked with other popular brands including Zain Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, DStv, Diamond Bank, and others.
