Olamilekan Agbeleshe Popularly known as Laycon is one of the BBNaija Lockdown contestants, a singer, and a rapper who is currently gaining traction in the BBNaija fanbase. There is no doubt that Laycon has one of the biggest fans ever since he has been in the house his fans increasing every day and a lot of celebrities her supporting him. So what do you expect? If there is one person making Biggie’s house interesting, it is Laycon.

Early Life & Education

Laycon was born on November 8, 1993, however, his date of birth is not yet known. He is a Yoruba who was born and brought up in Lagos.

Olamilekan gained Admission into the University of Lagos in 2012. He graduated in 2016 from the institution with a BA in Philosophy, Second Class Upper.

Career

Laycon started his musical career at an early age. Music has always been his passion. He started rapping at an early age and never stopped. Even while at school and when he was working, he pursued music on the side. 

Before graduating from Unilag, As an undergraduate, Laycon interned at Latjum Global Nigeria Limited, an oil and gas marketing company, as a personal assistant to the CEO and managing director of the company.

After graduating from the university in 2016, he got a job at Bestman Games, Ikoyi, as a sales and business development personnel. Bestman Games is an African games company based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Laycon left Bestman Games after two months and worked at the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy as a personal assistant to the Assistant Director (Welfare) of Administration and Human resources of the ministry.

The rapper has also worked as a freelance writer for several companies and organizations. 

One of his most popular songs is Fierce, in which he features Chinko Ekun and Reminisce. both rappers took to social media to endorse him. Other celebrities such as Oxlade, Joeboy, and Fireboy followed suit.

The song was on the MTV Base Top 10 charts for six months.  While in the Bbnaija Lockdown house, Senseless was released by Laycon.

Laycon Bbnaija

Laycon is an intelligent, smart, and loyal housemate in the BBnaija house. Laycon developed feelings for Erica and declared his interest to be in a relationship with her. Sadly, Erica rejected him, saying that she has feelings for Kiddwaya who is a son of billionaire man Terrywaya. 

This hurt Laycon, and he even told Biggie and other housemates that he feels pained whenever he sees Erica and Kidd having romantic moments. Erica was later disqualified in week 7 after she has been given strikes 3times and Kiddwaya were evicted in week 8.

Laycon won the Big Brother Season 5 Lockdown show and was given 85million On Sunday, September 27, 2020. Dorathy won the 1st Runner Up, Nengi won the 2nd Runner up while the 3rd Runner up was Neo and Vee was the 4th Runner Up
