Stella Damasus Early Life
Stella Damasus was born in the late 70’s, precisely, on 24th April, 1978 in Benin City, Edo State. Edo State is a state in the South Western part of Nigeria.
Stella had her elementary education in Benin City, Edo state, Nigeria. On completing her elementary education, her family moved to Asaba, Delta state. Therein, she had her secondary education and obtained her West African Senior Certificate result.
Stella later got admitted into the prestigious University of Lagos, she studied and bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts therein.
Again, she went for a Film Audition Workshop and an On-Camera Intensive training. As expected, Stella attended this training to improve her acting skills.
Career
Stella Damasus rose to prominence shortly after joining the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood.
“Breaking Point,” her second movie which later became a Nollywood blockbuster movie, took her to the limelight.
Stella started acting officially in 1992. Her first movie as an actress was released in 1992 – “Abused,” #themovie.
