Yemi Blaq Early Life

The renowned Nollywood actor was born in the late ’70s to the beautiful family Mr Olatunji Blaq in Lagos State.

Born on 19th May 1978, Yemi is a native of Ondo State. Ondo State is a state in the South Western part of Nigeria.

Being a ‘Lagos Boy,’ Yemi had his elementary, high school, and university education there.

In Lagos State, Yemi obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate. Thereafter, he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree from the prestigious University of Lagos (Unilag).

Early Career

A young man, go-getter, and goal oriented as he was, Yemi started acting while he was in high school.

In 2005, Yemi finally joined the Nigerian movie industry better-known as Nollywood. He did join this industry when he registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

After joining the movie industry officially in 2005, Yemi rose to fame not long after.
