Rosaline Ufuoma Meurer is a biracial Nigerian actress, model, movie producer and philanthropist from Delta State. She is creative, can interpret scripts at will and possess a high degree of oral proficiency in spoken English. On the positive sides, she speaks over 5 languages including Dutch, Gambian Dialect, Delta language and a bit of Hausa.
She is most known for her 2014 role as Kaylah in the TV series Oasis and 2018 role as Kemi Alesinloye in Ayo Makun’s Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons.

Rosaline Ufuoma Meurer was born on the 15th of February 15, 1992. She is a Gambia born Nigerian. Her father is from the Netherlands while her mother is from the South-South part of Nigeria. She has Diploma in Business Management. She earned her first movie award as the Next Rated Nollywood star at The Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Award 2016 held in Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.
Her parents moved to The Gambia where she spent her formative years and had most of her education. For the most part of her life, Rosaline had enough experience and understanding of the West African country before relocating with her family to Nigeria. She has a Diploma in Business Management and lives with her mother in Lagos, alongside her younger brother and sister.
While growing up, Meurer loved aircraft and flying and dreamt of becoming an air hostess or a pilot. She began working as a model and she did for several print media (magazines) before her big break in the Nigerian movie industry. She was discovered in The Gambia in 2009 by Nigerian actor and politician, Desmond Elliot who advised her to try acting in Nigeria. She found her way into the movie industry and got her first role in the movie ‘Spellbound’, with the likes of Desmond Elliot, Uche Jombo, Joseph Benjamin and Ini Edo. The movie would go on to create more opportunities for her She moved to Lagos, Nigeria in 2009 and started her movie career, starring in a minor role in the 2009 Emem Isong’s film Spellbound and in the 2011 film In the Cupboard.
She also starred in a minor role in Weekend Getaway in 2012. After starring in the 2012 movie, she stopped acting for a while and went back to school in The Gambia, before coming back to Nigeria to continue her acting career. When she returned in 2014, she joined the cast of TV series Oasis, starring in a lead role as Kaylah. The following year, she played Nneka in Damaged Petal, and starred in Red Card and Open Marriage.
She would go on to feature in movies such as ‘Red Card’, ‘The Getaway’, ‘Broken Bond’, ‘In the Cupboard’, ‘Vendetta’, ‘Open Marriage’, and ‘Oasis’ that brought her to the limelight as the lead actress.
In 2017, her fame shot up and she produced her first movie ‘Therapist Therapy’. It has been a steady climb since then and she has remained under the spotlight despite a handful of controversies.
Also, she starred in a main role in Our Dirty Little Secret in 2017. In the same year, she played Monica in the TV series Philip and Polycarp and starred in The Incredible Father, Pebbles of Love and Our Dirty Little Secret. She later went on to produce her first movie The Therapist’s Therapy. In 2018, she played the lead role as Valerie in Eniola Badmus’s film Karma and starred as Kemi Alesinloye in Ayo Makun’s Merry Men: The Real Yoruba
Although Meurer lives in Lagos with her mum and her two siblings, a boy and a girl and she is the first child of the family. It has not been confirmed whether or not she is in a committed relationship.
She was motivated by producers and directors like Emem Isong, Zik Zulu Okafor, Chico Ejiro.
On 25 May 2017, she rehabilitated and commissioned Udu Main Market Water Project in Udu, Delta State. As an ambassador of Big Church Foundation on Women and Child, she donated money to pregnant women at 3-H Clinic and Maternity in Warri, Delta State.
