The Nigerian movie actress, songwriter, businesswoman, filmmaker, media personality, and producer, Dayo Amusa was born on 20th July 1984 in her hometown in Surulere, Lagos State.
Whereas her mother, Mrs. Abiola Amusa is a businesswoman, her father Mr. Kolawole Rasheed Amusa is a retired Engineer. Whilst her father is a native of Lagos State, as she is, her mother is originally from Ogun State. What’s more, Ogun and Lagos States are states in the South-Western part of Nigeria.
Education
Amusa attended Kenny-Tee Private School, Surulere, Lagos and Mayflower Secondary School in Ikenne Remo, Ogun State for her elementary and secondary education respectively. It is worth noting that she started her secondary education at Mayflower Secondary School, but completed it in Mamak Secondary School in Sagamu, Ogun State.
For her university education, Dayo Amusa attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Therein, she studied and bagged her National Diploma (OND) in Food Science and Technology.
Early Career
Temidayo Amusa joined the Nigerian movie industry, otherwise known as Nollywood, in 2002. Then, she started getting minor movie roles, up until she was good enough to play major characters.
