Femi Adebayo is a Nigerian lawyer, film actor, director, and producer. He was the former Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture, and Tourism. He is also the son of the veteran actor, Adebayo Salami.
Early Life & Education
- Olufemi Lawal Adebayo was born on December 31, 1972, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the son of a powerful, intelligent Nollywood actor Salami Adebayo also known as Oga Bello.
- He is originated from Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Surprisingly, he gets citizenship from the Government of Nigeria in 1978. His father Adebayo Salami is known as Oga Bella. According to the information of Femi, he is a member of the polygamous family. His father has about twelve (12) children. Most of them are graduates
- Femi attended Jender Age and Oke-Ode Grammar School for his primary and secondary education respectively.
- Femi completed both his primary and secondary school education and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate in Lagos State, Nigeria
- Thereafter, Femi bagged an LL.B at the University of Ilorin and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Art. He is also currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Law at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in the southwestern part of Nigeria, where he combines both his acting career and studies together.

- Femi Lateef Adebayo studied Law at the University of Ilorin. After this, he proceeded to get a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts.
- Adebayo’s ambition for a very long time since when he was a kid was to be a lawyer. His father, Oga Bello is a very supportive father especially when it comes to his children’s career. And he does not bother himself with any career they choose to study since that is what they want, he gives them his 100% attention and support.
- Femi practiced Law for two years, but even then, he still had an interest in the entertainment industry. Seeing his father regularly on television kept motivating him to pursue his passion.
- When Femi was a teen, he watched his father’s acted movie on the television. Then, he became passionate about acting. His father gave him the independence to choose the job. So he started to play different roles in the movies along with his law profession. But he has to struggle for a long time to establish as an actor.

- In 1998, they met each other at the University of Ilorin. That time Khadijat was the first-year student of the Department of Computer Science and Femi was in the third year in the department of Law. They dated for 6 years before getting married in 2004. This couple has three children.
- Femi married his first wife, Khadijat Adebayo, but sadly enough, the marriage ended in divorce. and eight years after, he married Omotayo Sanusi on 9 October 2016. who gave birth to their first child in 2018, Altogether, he is blessed with four children.

- n 2016, Adebayo was appointed by the Kwara State Governor as a member of the State Executive Council. He was also the Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Arts, Culture, and Tourism.
