Early Life and Education
Ireti Doyle was born on May 3, 1967, in Ondo State, but she spent her early years in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States of America with her family. She attended Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti, after moving back to Nigeria. She earned a diploma in mass communication and later earned a theatre arts degree from the University of Jos.
Acting Career
Ireti is a multifaceted performer with experience in writing, acting, TV hosting, and public speaking. She essentially began acting in 1995 during a school strike. She took advantage of the chance and went to an audition for a part in the TV show, Riddles and Hopes. Her inspiration had previously started in secondary school while she was watching the TV show Mind Bending, which was created by Lola Fani Kayode and had Joke Silva as the main feature.
She entered the television hosting business as she developed her career in the film industry. She was a host of programmes such as Morning Ride on STV, Nimasa, and This Week on Channels TV. She also started writing pieces for publications such as This Day Newspaper, City People, Saturday Vanguard, and others as a social commentator.
