Lord Lamba, which also means “Lord Of Lies,” rose to fame in the year 2021 because of his funny comedy skits shared on social media. He is frequently shown in his comedic skits fabricating lies to avoid responsibilities, difficulties, or to impress. He won the Best Social media Comedian of the Year at the 2021 DENSA award.

Early Life & Education

Lord Lamba was born on the 4th of May, 1995, at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State. He hails from Anambra State, Nigeria. He lives and grow up in Lagos State. He had his primary school education at Fountain of Life Primary School. He then went to Rose Secondary School in Satellite Town, Lagos. He continued his education by studying Creative Arts at the University. Lord Lamba, who had studied creative arts in school, was a great actor who could perform comedic skits. This prompted his mother to suggest that he should try to swing into comedy, which he did.

Career

When Lord Lamba was younger, he did not always want to be a comedian, he loved football and aspired to be a footballer. But his mother, who had noticed the talent he has in making people laugh, encouraged him to make a career out of his talent. Lord Lamba has had an amazing talent to make people laugh since he was a child. His mother recognized this and advised her son to pursue a career in comedy right away.

Lord Lamba’s debut comedy video was him lying about being in New York, which his friends discovered the truth afterward. His friends suggested he make comedy films on how people lie on a daily basis because his name means “Lord Of Lies.”

Due to his creative distinctiveness in his skits, he became one of the fastest-rising Nigerian comedians with large followers after buying the idea. In 2021, Lord of Lamba got the award for Best Social Media Comedian of the Year, as he defeated Mr. Macaroni, Taaooma, Broda Shaggi, Officer Woos, etc.
