Toyin Abraham Biography
Toyin Abraham (born Olutoyin Aimakhu; September 5, 1980) is a Nigerian film actress, filmmaker, director, and producer.
Early Life
Aimakhu was born on September 5, 1980, in Auchi, a town in Edo State in southern Nigeria, but spent her early life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria. She began her education in Edo state and attended Oba Kenzo Nursery and Primary School, Benin. Later on, her father retired and the entire family moved to Ibadan where she spent most of her early life.
She went to Osun State Polytechnic Iree; from 1999-2002, where she had her Pre- National Diploma, and Ordinary National Diploma. She obtained a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing from Ibadan Polytechnic.
Marital Status & Personal Life
Toyin got married to Adeniyi Johnson, a Nollywood actor but it lasted for two years in 2013. She had a traditional engagement with another Nollywood actor, director kolawole Adeyemi and she gave birth in August 2019.

She changed her name from Toyin Aimakhu to Toyin Abraham in 2016. According to her, the change was her family’s decision.
Career
Toyin began acting in 2003, when Bukky Wright, a Nigerian film actress, visited Ibadan to shoot a movie. Over the years, Toyin Abraham has produced, directed and featured in several Nigerian films, such as Alani Baba Labake and Ebimi ni.
She produced her own first movie titled Alajota and she has also produced a lot of movies and featured in many movies too.
