Wanjiku Muhoho (Born on 1991) is a Kenya politician born in South Kinangop, Nyandarua County. She is also philanthropy and founder of Candles For Girls and a cousin to President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya.

Wanjiku Muhoho is a Kenya politician born in South Kinangop, Nyandarua County in the year 1991. She is the first born of six family and a cousin to President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya.
Wanjiku went to Mt Kinangop girls and Nova academy, she furthermore and earned a bachelor’s in mathematics from Nairobi university
Wanjiku is a representing Nyandarua County from Njabini Kiburu Ward at Nyandarua County Assembly. She is also a Member of Implementation Committee; Powers and Privileges Committee; House Business Committee; Legal Affairs, Labour, Intergovernmental Relations and Coordination Committee, and Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts Committee.
She contested for the Jubilee party ticket to vie but lost to Ms. Faith Gitau in which she land in the third position but was later nominated to Nyandarua County Assembly
Wanjiku was nominated automatically by the Jubilee party to compete against United Democratic Alliance candidate Gitau but lost with a margin of 40,000 votes and has 2,709 votes in the 9 August, 2022 poll. She vowed never to contest a political seat after her loss.

Wanjiku created this foundation to reduce early pregnancies and empower the Girl Child and communities through advocacy, mentorship, and training.
She had romantic affair with former Starehe Legislator and Jubilee nominated Member of Parliament Hon Maina Kamanda and gave birth to a daughter for him but went to Nairobi children’s court over child support and accused him of neglecting their child.
