Early Life

Classiq was born on the 21st of September, 1991, in Bauchi State, which falls in the North-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria. He is the first child of his parent with two younger siblings. His father was a lecturer. He attended Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Staff Primary School for his elementary education. After finishing his secondary school studies and meeting necessary requirements, he went further to Bayero University in Kano, where he studied Computer Science and graduated in 2009.

Career

ClassiQ started his career when he was very young, at the tentative age of 16 years old. He sings his songs in 2 languages: Hausa and English. This music style of ClassiQ attracted many music fans, which made him gain wide recognition in the Nigerian music industry, especially the Hausa music industry.

Due to ClassiQ’s rapping prowess, he has featured many prominent Nigerian music artists. He has featured in music alongside Davido, M.I Abaga, Dj Ab, Wande Coal, and so on.
