Early Life and Education

Evelyn Wanjiku Mungai was born on April 6, 2000, in Gachiku Village, Kenya. She completed her primary and secondary school education, but their names were unknown. She changed schools severally due to school fee problems; she likes speaking publicly and didn’t like school much, but her father wanted her to be a teacher. One of her teachers advised her to enroll in a journalism course, and she did, but she dropped out after one semester.

Career

Eve needed a job for a living after dropping out of journalism school. On January 21, 2020, she launched her YouTube channel named Mungai Eve and posted her first video on October 31, 2020. She covered Machakos Gengeton Festival in the first video and later switched to interviewing people and asking for opinions on a trending topic.

She met three least musicians named Madocho, Stupid Boy, and Liyetin on December 2020. She covered their story, and this helped them with publicity. Vagah of Afro royalty noticed them and sponsor their music.

Eve started growing her channel gradually by interviewing musicians like Ndovu kuu and Mejja and some other A-list celebrities in Kenya.
