The Nigerian pastor, preacher, founder, and Senior Pastor of God’s House Of Refuge, Nigeria, Pastor Ezekiel Atang was born on the 4th of May 1973 in his hometown in Ikot Udota. 

Atang was born in his hometown, in Ikot Udota in the Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Akwa Ibom State is a state in the South-Southern part of Nigeria. Talking about his early life, it was fun-filled as his life was. 

Besides, Atang is the fourth child of his parents’ grown-up children. What’s more, Lt. Cdr. Friday and Head-Sister Rebecca Friday Atan are the names of his parents. 

Attending Nigerian Navy Primary School, Apapa, Malu Road, Lagos for his elementary school education, Pastor Ezekiel attended Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene for his secondary school education. As you may have guessed, he obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Examination Certificate certifications from there. 

After his basic education, he proceeded to the prestigious University of Calabar, where he studied and bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. 

Early Career

Pastor Ezekiel Atang served under the ministry of a spiritual mentor and father for about fifteen years before founding this organization that enriches marriages and relationships through seminars, conferences, and marriage schools tagged “Fresh Wine for Couples International.” after being in the industry for a couple of years. 

In plain words, he started his ministry on the 16th of April 2006. As the Lead Pastor of God’s House of Refuge situated in Uyo, Nigeria, it is okay to say that Atang has achieved so much for himself.

An author, international relations expert, and public speaker, Pastor Ezekiel Atang’s ministry has reached countries like Philadelphia, Chicago, Ghana, and many others.

Yes, kindly, Pastor Ezekiel Atang is married to his beautiful wife, whose name is Dr. Dara Atang. Accordingly, the lovely has three cute together whose names are Levi, Atang, Olive Atang, and Ephraim Atang. More so, Atang’s wife is a medical doctor by profession. Also, she is a pastor and so ministers with her husband in his church, and also ministers in Praise Church as a pastor.

Sadly, yes. Unfortunately, he died in a car accident after leaving the church pulpit on a Monday evening. At the time he gave up the ghost, Pastor Ezekiel was 49 years old.
