Early Life

Terem Moffi was born on the 25th of May, 1999, in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River state, which falls among the states in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Leo, Moffi’s father, was a goalie for a Nigerian professional football team.

Career

Professional Career

At the age of 17, Moffi left Nigeria to enroll in the Buckswood Football Academy. He later relocated to Lithuania with Kauno Algiris. After that, he joined Riteriai, although his entrance was postponed due to visa complications. In the end, he played 29 league games and scored 20 goals before joining Kortrijk in January 2020. He joined the French Ligue 1 team Lorient on October 1, 2020.

International Career

Moffi was a member of Nigeria’s former head coach Gernot Rohr’s 31-man squad as of May 14th, 2021. On June 4, 2021, Moffi made his Super Eagles debut in a 1-0 loss to Cameroon. He was a member of the team that destroyed So Tomé and Principe 10 goals to 0 in the June 2022 AFCON qualification match for the 2023 tournament. In the mouthwatering game, he scored twice.
