On December 7, he scored his first goal as a professional, scoring his team’s lone goal in a home tie with Valencia. Success extended his contract with the team on August 7, 2015, signing a contract that would last through 2019, and was subsequently promoted to the starting lineup.

Success was selected to play for Nigeria’s under-17 team in 2013 and was also given the vice-captaincy. He participated in the first two games, but an injury kept him out for the remainder of the competition. In October 2016, Success received his first call-up to the senior Nigerian team ahead of a matchup with Zambia in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
