On March 1, 1982, Toyin Lawani was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to Atinuke Babalola and Olanrewaju Lawani. Olanrewaju Lawani, her father, was a politician who served with General Yakubu Gowon. Her mother, on the other hand, was a successful textile businesswoman in the United States. Her grandfather was a police commissioner, and her grandmother is the Regent of Ikole Ekiti in Ekiti State. Toyin Lawani graduated from the University of Lagos with a bachelor’s degree in English Language. She graduated from Nigeria’s Oprah Benson Beauty Institute and London’s Carlton Beauty Institute. Toyin Lawani graduated from Korea’s John Yim Beauty School with a certificate and a license to practice as a cosmetologist.

Career

Toyin Lawani began her entrepreneurial career while she was still an undergraduate. When she was 16 years old, she opened a little supermarket, a boutique, and a spa. Tiannah Place Empire was founded by Toyin Lawani, who also serves as its CEO. With her labels, she has made a name for herself in the fashion industry.
