Ola of Lagos is said to be born on June 19 in the late 90s to Mr. and Mrs. Akinwande, his year of birth is not a piece of public knowledge. He grew up in a lower-class family because his parents were not well-to-do. He had his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Career

Ola of Lagos started out as a cleaner in Lekki, Lagos State. He took up the job due to financial and family situations. Ola’s love for exotic cars was one of the things that changed his life entirely. As someone opportunity to work in Lekki, where big men and women stay, he often wows at exotic cars, which made him start taking pictures of these cars and posting them on his Instagram account.

Luck smiled on him when former hip hop artist and blogger Tunde Ednut, started reposting him and some of his pictures on Instagram. His breakthrough career started when Tunde Ednut decided to do a raffle draw after reaching 2 million followers on Instagram, the draw came in his favour and he was chosen by the blogger and gifted 2 million naira.

As luck would shine on Ola that particular night, one of Nigeria’s top musicians, Davido aka OBO saw this and decided to sponsor Ola on a paid trip to Dubai to witness the Dubai Car Week.
