The entertainment industry is one that is ever-growing, and more than ever, it is experiencing a large inflow of upcoming talents, especially comedians, into the industry. A good number of people have shown interest in being part of the entertainment industry, most especially as comedians, by putting up their comedy skits on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms. 

Today, our focus would be on the top ten Instagram comedians in Nigeria and my ratings would be based on four(4) criteria, which include their net worth, comedy content, fashion sense, and last but not least, the number of followers. Here we go.

1. Taaooma

The first on my list is Taaooma, whose real name is Apaokagi Maryam. Taaoma has an estimated net worth of $700,000 dollars and, based on my perspective, has amazing comedy content. An average individual, whether Nigerian or foreigner, can relate to her range, and it is always rib-cracking. She has a way of introducing relatable characters that keeps her viewers wanting more of them. Taaooma still manages to retain the comedy content that her viewers are after, even when promoting a product. Not leaving out the fashion aspect, Taaooma is a beautiful comedian with about 4.1 million followers on Instagram.

2. Maraji

The next person on my rating list is Maraji. Her real name is Gloria Oloruntobi, and she is one of the most beautiful comedians that we have in the entertainment industry. Maraji has an estimated net worth of $200,000 as her net worth. Her comedy is also always on point. However, unlike Taaooma’s skit, there is a large probability that a non-Nigerian might not be able to relate to most of her comedy skits. She has about 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

3. Broda Shaggi

The third rating will go to Broda Shaggi. His comedy content is always rib-cracking, and for this, he has accrued a number of followers on Instagram. He has about 10.9 million followers on Instagram, making him one of the comedians with the highest followers on Instagram. However, considering other factors put into consideration in this rating, I believe he is the best fit for this ranking. He has an estimated net worth of $168,000 USD. 

4. Twyse

I would put Twyse as the fourth top comedian on this list. He is said to have an estimated net worth of $95,000 as his net worth. He has the looks. In fact, I believe he has more good looks than Broda Shaggy. However, as you all know, we are also taking other things into consideration in this rating. He also has good content, and he has about 1.3 million followers on Instagram. 

5. Woli Arole

Woli Arole is the 5th top comedian on my list, and amongst other things, he has the looks and he also has excellent content, but not compared to those above him on this list. He is referred to as the business person of Nigeria with a whopping net worth of $5 to 10 million dollars. He has about 2.2 million followers on Instagram.

6. Mr Funny

Mr Funny, also known as Sabinus, is making it to number 6 on my list. He has great and amazing content, and his comedy skit has its own unique style, especially with his official costume. He has an estimated net worth of $400,000. He has about 2.7 million followers on Instagram. 

7. Josh2funny

Josh2Funny, also known as Josh Alfred, is placed at number 7 on my list. He has amazing looks. In fact, he is one of the most handsome comedians on my list. He has an estimated net worth of $100,000 and has about 2.2 million followers on Instagram.

8. Mr Macaroni

Mr Macaroni, who is a graduate of Theatre Arts from Redeemers University, is also an outstanding comedian and has an estimated net worth of 117,000 dollars. He also has the looks and has about 15.7 thousand followers on Instagram, a superstar. He is popular for his “professor hard life” and a rich, promiscuous socialite comedy series. 

9. Woli Agba

Woli Agba, who started with the Alfa Sule group before standing on his own, is also a popular comedian. His comedy skits are majorly centred on the religious aspect, and he does a great job of communicating his content, especially with singing. He has an estimated net worth of $55,000 as his net worth. From my perspective, he has the looks, especially for a man of his age. He has about 4.6 million followers on Instagram. 

10. Lasisi Elenu

The last on my list but not the list in the entertainment industry is Lasisi Elenu. From my perspective, he has relatively good comedic content, but he is not so high on his looks. He has an estimated net worth of $50,000 and he has about 4.2 million followers on Instagram. 

The above list of people are top guns in the entertainment industry, especially comedians, and are doing great in their field. I will be drawing the curtains by stating that these ratings are highly subjective, but the facts stated in these editorials are highly verifiable.
