Early Life & Education
Poco Lee was born on October 21, 1996, in Lagos to the family of Mr. Kenneth Iweh and Mrs. Augustina. He hails from Iweh in Orlu LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. His parents have five children, while Poco Lee is the third child. Poco grew up in Ojo, Lagos, and went to the Nigerian Navy Basic School, Okokomaiko in Ojo, for his primary school education. He attended Command Day Secondary School in Ojo Barracks, Lagos State, for his secondary school education. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Lagos State University (LASU) in December 2019.
Career
Poco Lee’s desire for dance dates back to his university days. His biggest break came when he posted a video of himself dancing to the trending dances Zanku and Legwork in an event held by Lagos State University (LASU), which earned him a Tunde Ednut Instagram repost. The one-minute movie quickly went viral online, appearing on the profiles of various celebrities, and attracting the notice of dance creator Zlatan Ibile, who quickly teamed up with him and enlisted his involvement in the video for the song Zanku.
Poco Lee has had the opportunity to meet with artists such as 2baba, Zlatan Ibile, Wizkid, Naira Marley, Davido, Burna Boy, and several others. The positive side is that he has appeared in music videos for songs by the aforementioned famous musicians. He has also built up a reputation as a professional dancer in the entertainment industry since then.

Portable, a Zazu crooner, posted recordings online in which he accused top dancer Poco Lee of attempting to defraud him. By making it Poco Lee feat Portable. Portable questioned why Poco Lee’s name was in front. The song should have been done as Portable Feat Poco Lee. Poco Lee’s name should be mentioned at the back.
Portable’s call-out video generated a lot of interest on social media, and many people had mixed reactions to it. Some lambasted the dancer for cheating Portable, while some opined that the Zazu star did not act properly by calling out Poco Lee.
